Ingredients

  • ¾ cup 180 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or mild vinegar
  • 1 –2 tablespoons fresh herbs finely chopped (dill, parsley, or chives)
  • 1 small garlic clove finely grated (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Stir the mayonnaise and lemon juice together until smooth.
  • Add the herbs and garlic and stir until evenly mixed.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before using.
